After iits took over management of our project in December 2022, we observed a remarkable improvement in the performance and efficiency of our systems. The seamless transition under the existing terms of our previous IT service provider, combined with ongoing optimizations, has not only reduced our costs by 50% but also increased the availability of our applications to over 99.98%. Particularly impressive is the response time of the CloudOps team, which now consistently falls below 15 minutes in the event of incidents. These successes have convinced us to continue placing our trust in iits, so that in 2024 we will entrust another core product to their expertise. It was immediately clear that the iits Telekom Cloud Team is a well-coordinated group. Their agile and professional approach, as well as their integration of existing and new applications into a microservices architecture, was impressive. They presented a coherent concept utilizing technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka, etc., and implemented it accordingly in record time. The result was a fully automated and low-maintenance infrastructure, exactly as initially planned.

Together with the iits team, we laid the foundation for a flexible, scalable, and future-oriented IT architecture. By leveraging state-of-the-art technologies—such as Azure Kubernetes Services, Terraform, and Azure IoT components—this architecture provides our team with the necessary flexibility to respond to the highly dynamic requirements of an innovation project. The microservices and Infrastructure as Code statements developed demonstrate excellent quality and underscore that the iits team meets the highest standards both technically and functionally. As a result, the production environment was set up almost fully automated in a very short time, ensuring quality assurance while simultaneously minimizing the risks of configuration deviations. However, in addition to their high level of technical expertise, the seamless integration of the iits team into our project team deserves special mention.

As part of our innovation project, the iits team designed the entire Azure Cloud and IoT infrastructure in close and trusting collaboration with our IT architecture team and implemented it using the latest technologies. Even before the actual IoT devices were delivered, we were able to use simulated devices to develop our web application with AI-based fleet management and optimize it for efficient operation. In addition to their high level of technical expertise, it is worth highlighting how pleasant the collaboration with iits has been. We quickly established a very trusting and effective working atmosphere within the team, and iits demonstrated a very high level of commitment to our new IT product at all times, so that there was never any discernible difference between “internal” and “external” at any point. Not only was the result impressive, but the journey to get there was also enjoyable.

The iits team played a key and impressive role in shaping the entire lifecycle, from conception through implementation to operation. In addition to the breadth of iits’ expertise—ranging from DevOps, microservices, the Internet of Things, and front-end development to machine learning and optimization—we were particularly impressed by the way they collaborated on such a rapidly evolving and innovative topic. In addition to their technical expertise, the iits team members were able to actively engage in technical discussions in a very pleasant manner, helping to shape them from an application perspective and providing important insights.

From the customer's perspective, working with the Product Owner and Scrum Master is truly enjoyable. Requirements are thoroughly examined to ensure the best possible user experience. As a result, the quality of the software products is exceptionally high. The development teams are highly skilled and ensure that the containerized cloud application runs without a hitch.

From the very beginning, our collaboration with IITS was characterized by a high level of motivation, professionalism, and camaraderie. Within a very short time, we were able to form an effective and efficient project team composed of employees from both companies, which created the Carbon Footprint Calculator—a software tool that was unique at the time.
