2. Foundation Plan
These prices are our guideline based on the effort we think is necessary to provide the service. Each customer will receive an individual pricing.
The iits CloudOps as a Service Foundation plan provides essential support for your development team’s cloud operation’s needs. This package is designed to offer consistent and predictable support within the scope of the iits CloudOps as a Service tech stack. More Info can be found in the technical specification part. This plan ensures your team has the foundational support required to manage cloud operations efficiently.

Key Features of the Foundation Plan:
Package Size:
Covers up to 8 developers or 8 applications (for non-microservices architectures). If the number of developers or applications exceeds this limit, the client is obligated to order an upgraded package.
Foundation Setup and Maintenance:
Our Foundation Setup and Maintenance service establishes your cloud operations stack through an internal developer platform that implements infrastructure as code and GitOps principles. We continuously manage your environment by provisioning two stages and validating configuration assets to ensure consistent, secure deployments and ongoing support for your application needs.
Support Budget:
Includes 10 hours of support per month from our Platform Engineers. The customer will be notified if the allotted support hours are exceeded. The scope of support covers all CloudOps tasks related to the iits CloudOps as a Service tech stack.
Service Level Agreement (SLA) 8×5:
Support is provided Monday through Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00.
Minimum Contract Term:
A 6-month commitment is required.
Support Channels:
Communication channels should be aligned upfront; preferred options include Slack or Microsoft Teams. Additionally, iits-consulting provides dedicated email and phone support.

3.1 Recommended Add-Ons
Migration of Existing Workload (pricing based on workload complexity)
Receive professional assistance for migrating your existing workloads into the CloudOps as a Service stack. Our experts collaborate with your team to assess your current environment and design a tailored migration plan. This service ensures a smooth transition with minimal downtime and operational disruption. Pricing is determined based on workload complexity and specific requirements. To ensure a successful transition, we require the support and collaboration of your internal development team with our iits-consulting CloudOps team.
Capacity Boost Package (3000€ per month)
Increase your support capacity by up to 4 additional developers or applications. This package is ideal for clients who outgrow the Foundation Plan’s limit of 8 developers or 8 applications. You can book this package multiple times to scale your support as needed.
Upgrade Support Package (fixed price)
- Minimum booking of 10 hours per package request. 1 hour costs 100€.
- Must be scheduled at least 2 months in advance to ensure resource availability.
- Can be booked multiple times for ongoing support needs.
- iits-consulting reserves the right to decline bookings based on resource availability or scope alignment.
- Standard support hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. If support is required outside of these hours, it must be coordinated and agreed upon with the iits- consulting CloudOps team in advance. In cases where extended support hours are needed, a special agreement may be required.
- Time & material hours on the weekend, national holiday days or outside of the
standard support hours will be charged by 250€ per hour
Managed Databases as a Service (€200 per month)
Fully managed database services including provisioning, automated backups, scaling, and continuous monitoring to ensure availability, security, and optimal performance of your databases. Additionally, this service covers the creation of database schemas, databases, and user accounts, providing a comprehensive solution for your database needs.
Gitlab as a Service (15€ per user per month)
iits-consulting’s GitLab as a Service Add-On provides managed GitLab hosting and administration as a SaaS solution. Your team or company will receive a dedicated space within the GitLab environment, while our team handles configuration, routine maintenance, updates, and user support. The service is hosted in the OpenTelekomCloud in Germany, ensuring compliance with local data privacy regulations and standards.
Dedicated Gitlab as a Service Instance (300€ per month)
iits-consulting’s Dedicated GitLab Instance Add-On provides your organization with a fully managed, private GitLab environment tailored exclusively to your needs. This offering is ideal for organizations requiring full control over their GitLab instance without the operational overhead of managing it themselves. Our team takes care of the setup, configuration, routine maintenance, updates, and user support, ensuring your GitLab instance runs smoothly and securely.
ArgoCD Project Management (€200 per month for each project)
Fully managed ArgoCD instances with project-level separation including UI configuration, advanced RBAC policies, and ServiceAccount management for streamlined GitOps workflows.
Cloud Cost Optimization (€350 per month)
Comprehensive cloud cost management including periodic analysis, detailed reporting, right-sizing recommendations, reserved instance planning, auto-scaling advice, and automated cost alerting to efficiently control and optimize your cloud expenditure. This addon will only be billed if at least 1000€ per month can be saved.
Message Broker (100€ per month for each setup)
Our Message Broker Management Service provides a fully managed environment for your messaging infrastructure. Whether you choose Kafka, Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or another solution, iits-consulting will handle the initial setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance. This includes logging, monitoring, security updates, and troubleshooting support to ensure efficient and reliable communication between your distributed services. By leveraging our expertise, your organization can focus on core development and operations while we manage the complexities of your messaging system.
Additional Stage (1500€ per month)
Extends the Foundation Setup and Maintenance service to include support for an additional stage, such as staging, testing, or quality assurance. This package provides the same level of infrastructure as code and GitOps principles implementation, provisioning, and configuration asset validation as the default development (dev) and production (prod) stages.

This package can be booked in addition to the Foundation Plan and can be repeated to support multiple additional stages. For example, if a client needs support for development, production, staging, and testing, they would book the Foundation Plan and two Additional Stage Support Packages.
3.2 Support & Operations Add-Ons
By adopting our CloudOps as a Service, you get multiple benefits, including:
Flexible T&M Additional Support Budget (€150 per hour)
- Support for custom requirements outside the iits CloudOps as a Service tech stack scope or tech stack is billed on a time-and-materials (T&M) basis.
- Ideal for unique or project-specific needs that fall outside standard offerings.
- Time & material hours on the weekend will be charged at 250€ per hour and need to be planned upfront.
- iits-consulting reserves the right to decline requests based on feasibility or resource constraints.
Premium SLA: 24/7 Support (130-200% increase)
The cost for 24/7 support is calculated as a percentage increase over the total CloudOps as a Service offer (including add-ons):
- 130% Increase: For support provided by a distributed team of employees worldwide.
- 200% Increase: For support provided exclusively by employees based in the EU.
3.3 Security Add-Ons
VPN Setup Site-to Site IPSEC (€300 per month per VPN connection)
Implementation and ongoing support of a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) to ensure encrypted and private communication between your cloud environment and external access points. This upgrade is critical for secure remote access and data protection. Our Networking Management Add-On delivers comprehensive support for your network infrastructure, including subnetwork configuration, and private DNS management. iits- consulting ensures that your network components are configured according to security best practices while maintaining high performance and reliability. Our team takes care of the initial setup, continuous monitoring, routine maintenance, and proactive updates, allowing you to focus on your core business.
Container Image Hardening (€400 per month)
Comprehensive container image security hardening by removing unnecessary programs, optimizing permissions, enforcing read-only root filesystems, non-privileged user configurations, and applying Kyverno-based security policies. Application specific adjustments included based on your requirements.
Container CVE Security
- Proactive Patch Management (4000€ per month)
Regular scanning of container images using Trivy, proactive identification and prioritization of vulnerabilities, remediation recommendations, and assistance with timely patch implementation. - Passive Patch Management (€800 )
Regular scanning and passive deployment of security patches across all projects without specific prioritization, ensuring baseline protection from vulnerabilities. - Managed Container Registry & Image Signing (€500 per month)
Fully managed private container registry with integrated image signing and
verification processes, enhancing the security and integrity of your container
deployment pipeline.
Web Application Firewall (WAF) Management (pricing is based on the panic level)
Deploy, configure, and maintain a WAF to protect your web applications from common threats such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and other attacks.
Multi Tenancy Setup (pricing depends on the level of data/user separation)
This add-on enables the creation of separate and isolated environments for multiple organizations or entities within a single instance, allowing for tailored access controls, data separation, and customized configurations to meet the unique needs of each tenant.

Get a dedicated instance of Azure OpenAI hosted either in your own Azure environment or within iits-consulting’s infrastructure. This add-on provides a private AI instance where your company data remains isolated and is not used for further training. iits-consulting takes care of integration, configuration, updates, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring that your private instance remains secure and compliant with data privacy requirements.
Private genAI Homeport.ai (59€ per user per month)
Highest security standards for your data & genAI system.
Unlock the full potential of AI with Homeport.ai, the AI operating system for your company. This add-on centralizes your internal knowledge base—including documents, wikis, and contracts—and organizes your data into personalized, secure workspaces. It also enables the integration of your preferred AI models, so you can tailor the solution to meet your unique needs. Hosted on the Open Telekom Cloud in the EU, this solution ensures that your data remains safely stored in compliance with local data protection standards, while iits- consulting handles the setup and ongoing management.

Telekom Privacy and Security Assessment (PSA) Compatibility (€200 per month)
All security solutions provided by iits-consulting are fully compatible with Deutsche Telekom’s Privacy and Security Assessment (PSA) framework, ensuring alignment with their stringent security standards.
Support Through the PSA/ITIL Process (€200 per hour)
For projects with Deutsche Telekom, iits-consulting offers expert guidance and support throughout the PSA process. This ensures compliance and a smooth approval process, helping your team meet Telekom’s security and privacy requirements. Minimum Add-On package size is 20 hours.
RBAC Configuration (€1000 per month)
Setup and maintenance of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) enabling secure and segmented kubectl access for developers within dedicated namespaces in your Kubernetes cluster, enhancing security and operational independence.

Enhance and simplify access management in your Azure environment with our Managed Identities on Azure Add-On. iits-consulting takes care of the configuration and integration of Azure’s native identity solutions into your infrastructure, ensuring secure credential rotation and centralized access control. You benefit from continuous monitoring and timely updates, reducing administrative effort and safeguarding your resources against unauthorized access. Managed Identities are only provided for business applications.
RBAC Configuration (€200 per month)
Setup and maintenance of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) enabling secure and segmented kubectl access for developers within dedicated namespaces in your Kubernetes cluster, enhancing security and operational independence. RBAC will be based on Entra ID groups and users.

Service Runtime and Termination Policy
The service is provided under a subscription model with an initial contract term of 12 months, followed by automatic renewal for successive 12-month periods unless terminated in accordance with this policy. To cancel the contract, the customer must provide written notice at least six (6) months prior to the end of the current contract term. Failure to provide timely notice will result in automatic renewal for another term. Early termination requests outside of this policy will not relieve the customer of their financial obligations for the remaining notice period. iits-consulting reserves the right to suspend or terminate service in cases of breach of contract or non-payment. iits-consulting reserves the right to adjust pricing upon renewal with prior notice to the customer.
