We saw a better way

Founded in 2019 by Victor Getz and Christopf Aufmhoff, iits-consulting came from a shared frustration with IT companies promising the world and offering nothing but cookie-cutter solutions.

This shared frustration came alongside a shared vision of how to revolutionize the industry. We decided to invest in the best talent and deliver individualized software solutions without one-size-fits-all shortcuts.

That vision hasn't changed.

It starts with the people

We built the company around a simple principle: hire the best people, and give them room to think so they can solve your actual problem with something built for it rather than applying template solutions. Being remote-first means we can hire those people wherever they are, and today iits-consulting is more than 150 of them, as comfortable with your business as with the code.

They are the kind of people who ask why before how, and who care about the code they leave behind. Bring us a genuinely hard problem, and it will land with someone who has seen its shape before.

Our story

  1. 2019
    • Foundation​

      Founding of ImpressSol GmbH by Victor Getz and Christoph Aufmhoff.​

  2. 2020
    • Structuring​

      We put our internal structures in place and grew to 15 people, and landed our first two major clients, Uniper and Deutsche Telekom.

  3. 2021
    • DevOps &​ Managed Service ​

      We launched our own DevOps and Managed Service team.

  4. 2022
    • AI services​

      We established an independent business unit for Artificial Intelligence, led by Dr. Tim Delbrügger.

  5. 2023
    • Revenue record​

      First annual turnover of over 10 million euros.​

  6. 2024
    • First partner &​ 100 employees​

      We partnered with the UX design agency 8reasons digital and reached 100 permanent employees.

  7. 2025
    • 2nd partner

      We partnered with the recruitment agency MxD Advisory.

Our team regularly speaks at industry conferences across Europe. We don’t just share what we’ve built, rather how we built it, the methods we use, and the best practices that actually work.

We’ve presented at WeAreDevelopers, ContainerDays, Kotlin Dev Day, DEVOXX and other leading industry events.

Beyond conferences, we work closely with trusted partners like Open Telekom Cloud, Heise academy, and Loft Labs, leading workshops where we share the methodologies, tools, and approaches that enable enterprises to build at scale.
